The Great White Shark Next Door // The Washington Post (2021)

Monterey Bay, CA. A 15-16 ft male great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) swims through the waters as he feeds on a 40 ft dead male humpback whale off Santa Cruz. This shark was first identified and tagged off Año Nuevo in 2013 as a 14-footer.
